RezEasy Front DeskSingle PC Installation | Network Installation | RezEasy Front Desk Workstation SettingsRezEasy Front Desk uses Microsoft HTML help to show context sensitive help when you press the "Help" button in a form. The Microsoft help application makes use of Internet Explorer. However, the default security settings in Internet Explorer will not allow the pages in the help file to display when you are opening a help file that is on a network server. Therefore, if you install RezEasy Front Desk on a network you must make some changes to each workstation so that the help file will display correctly. The changes required for each workstation are described below. NOTE: These settings do not decrease security when visiting websites. Setting Internet Explorer
Registry Settings
Reg FileWhen you install RezEasy's Workstation files "Rez70PMS_NetPC.exe" the installation program places a files called "HTMLHelp_Workstation.reg" into the installation the following folder : C:\Program Files\Hallisoft\RezEasy_6_PMS\Registry\ If you double click the file the registry entry will be created automatically. The contents of file "HTMLHelp_Workstation.reg" are: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 Single PC Installation | Network Installation | RezEasy Front Desk |
