Upgrading to RezEasy 7.0

RezEasy 7.0 is a complete rewrite of the booking engine and front end. It contains many new features plus a host of improvements. Therefore, the upgrade from version 6.* to 7.0 requires some changes to your existing site.

• Data files must be converted to the new format. Hallisoft provide a utility to do this.
• The database in RezEasy Agency must be updated to the new format. Hallisoft provide a utility to import data.
• The configuration now has many more options. Therefore you must configure the program again.
• You must publish the pages and programs and upload everything to your web site.
• Existing templates can be re-used in version 7. However, if you wish to use some of the new features like promotional codes some new markers will need to be added to your existing templates. These markers are explained in the user manual.
